What we collect
To See or Not to See has no accounts; it does not ask for your name, email, phone number or location.
- Votes: Your vote on a place ("see it before I die" / "die before I see it") is sent to our server together with a random device ID the app creates on install. The ID does not identify you; it only makes sure one device has one vote per place. Votes are shown only as overall percentages.
- Ads: The app shows ads with Google AdMob. AdMob may process data such as the advertising ID, device information and app interactions under Google's policy: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your phone settings.
Retention and deletion
Votes are stored anonymously. Uninstalling the app deletes the device ID. To have your votes deleted, write to us with the device ID shown on the app's Photo and data sources screen.
Photos
Place photos come from Wikimedia Commons and place data from Wikidata; each photo's photographer and license are shown in the app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
